markdown on the way

Thinking about markdown apps on mobile device, android smartphone and ipad.
Few things to be considered:
- lightweight markdown editor
- offline write and local storage
- cloud storage for dropbox and google drive
- markdown preview
- pdf, html export

After bit time research and test, only very few apps comes out in my mind.

iA Writer on android

iA Writer for android meets all above points, it is possible for me to write bog, github even write book in any place any time.

Jotterpad on android

It is great markdown app, not only editor and preview such easy but also dropbox synced very well and stable. Free version is good enough for normal usage.

Textnut on ipad

iA Writer not free on iPad so I test TextNut, looks great to link Dropbox folder, beautiful preview. Free version has some limitations:
- only 4 libraries, library means local folders, and 2 linked Dropbox folders
- only add notepad, no delete icon

In this case, don't use local library at all, only use linked Dropbox, funny thing when choice Dropbox folder, I did't select any folder, just click select button, it linked all folders, really nice. When want to delete note, go to Dropbox to delete it.

MarkLite on ipad

MarkLite is totally free on ipad, impressed by its features:
- create folder/note locally without limit
- live markdown preview
- export md/PDF/HTML to Dropbox/ google drive and many apps

So you can see no one app is perfect, keep couple of apps to complement each other looks like smart choice.
