Moving by yourself

Rent a cargo to move home by yourself is enjoyable experience in North Amercia.

Last week I rent a Cargo Van from U-Haul at $19.95, plus $0.49 / km, and plus gas, pretty fair deal for small scale moving, totally $56 for 24 hours rent(usually it is up to 4 hours).

Few trick when rent U-Haul:

1) Cargo Van insurance, not covered by any Credit Card, so I got from U-Haul at $15/day, cover anything with car and up to $1M medical insurance;

2) Gas refill, they fill 1/4 instead of full like passenger car, the meter is very hard to read and estimate how much you need to refill when you return car. For me I fill too much but they won't rebate you, but if you re-fill less than 1/4, they will charge you $30 service plus missing gas.
